RAIN WATER HARVESTING SYSTEM
GO GREEN WITH THIS SUSTAINABLE WATER SOLUTION
Collecting rainwater for your tiny home is as simple as leaving out open containers during a rainy day, but at Tiny Houses Revolution, we are aiming for a more cost-effective and risk-free option. Therefore, we will use a direct pressure harvesting system.
The system sends pressurized water straight from the external tank directly to the application. If the water level in the tank gets too low, the top-up controller will activate mains top up so the tank does not empty. This minimizes risks and the chances of being left without water.
As the electrical requirements for a rainwater harvesting system are minimal, this makes it a much more sustainable and environmentally friendly option when providing our tiny houses with running water.
Then the toilet fires up. Flushing is handled by some type of dry method, like an auger (a large screw) that turns to push the waste into the incinerator. A propane, diesel, or natural gas tank feeds into the incinerator. The incinerator injects fuel, ignites your waste, and burns it. Like composting toilets, these toilets can be self-contained or remote, putting the incinerator either inside or outside of the toilet.
